A three-day theoretical and practical training on the topic: "Inclusive education: preschool institutions practice” started in Kyiv today. The event is organized for specialists of four Kyiv kindergartens, participating in the "Promotion of social infrastructure development. USIF.V" Project and dealing with the educational process for children with special needs.

Within the framework of phase 2 of "Promotion of Social Infrastructure V" Project implemented by the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund in Kyiv with the use of German Government funds provided through KfW, all kindergartens - Project participants are being equipped with thermohydrometers.

In Kharkiv region, in the village of Doslidne, located near the town of Krasnograd, the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund (USIF), with the use of the funds of German Government, provided through KfW Development Bank, renovated a two-story facility for housing of internally displaced persons.

In the context of realization of relevant provisions of the Operational Manual and the Working Plan for 2019, USIF launches practical implementation of measures to ensure integrity.

On January 29, 2019, the first in the current year meeting of the Supervisory Board (SB) of the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund (USIF) was held in Kyiv. SB members examined and endorsed the report on implementation of the budget and the annual plan of activities of USIF in the 4th quarter and in the year 2018 as a whole.

On December 3, 2018 in Kyiv representatives of Henkel Bautechnik Ukraine Anatoliy Velichko and Oleksandr Ustymenko presented modern construction technologies and materials, which could be used in USIF’s projects.

On November 29, in Kyiv, consultant for capacity building and training Kateryna Dergachova and senior community development consultant Hanna Aladzalyan participated in 7th Civil Society Development Forum.

On November 20, Deputy Executive Director of the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund Oleg Ovchinnikov and consultant for capacity building and training Kateryna Dergachova attended presentation of the "Analytical review of regional programs for provision of housing for internally displaced persons".

On 14-15.11.2018 Deputy USIF Executive Director Oleg Ovchinnikov and director of the Eastern Regional Office of the Fund Sergey Kadygrob visited Dnipropetrovsk and the Zaporizhzhya regions.
