Launch of Community-Based Social Service Delivery Project in Odesa region
The Community-Based Social Service Delivery Project, financed by Japan Social Development Fund through the World Bank, was officially launched by the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund in Odesa region. Due to the Project implementation the amalgamated territorial communities, self-governments/local authorities of Odessa region will be able to provide communities residents with prioritized social services. On the occasion of the Project's opening an information seminar was conducted in Odessa on April 25th, 2019. The event was attended by Vitaliy Svichinsky and Sergiy Koleboshin – the Vice-Chairmen of Odessa oblast State Administration, Oleksandra Churkina - Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, Julia Zhovtyak - Deputy Head of the State Employment Service of Ukraine, representatives of the World Bank, Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, Ukrainian Social Investment Fund, amalgamated territorial communities and public organizations of Odesa region. During the seminar, communities representatives had an opportunity to get acquainted with Project, get insight into expected results and stages of the Project implementation, discuss its implementation in respect to decentralization processes and share ideas and experience in social services management in Odesa region.
