Phone us The first community forum within “Community-Based Social Service Delivery” Project was held in Saranchuki amalgamated community
The first community forum within the framework of the “Community-Based Social Service Delivery” Project was held in Ternopil region. Thіs positive practice was set by Saranchuki amalgamated territorial community. The main goal of the forum was to discuss matters related to participation in the Project and the most acute local problems as well as possible ways of their solution by means of implementation of community-based social protection services subprojects with support of USIF, the World Bank and Japan Social Development Fund.
Election of so-called Subproject Implementation Partner (SIP) members was the key forum’s task. According to the project participation requirements, this very initiative group will be taking active part in implementation of all project stages and ensuring proper advocation of their community interests.
The following representatives were elected as Saranchuki SIP members:
- G.Bunyak, Chief specialist of the social protection and education department of the local council;
- O. Ivaskyv, Head of the entrepreneurship center, chief specialist of free of charge legal support;
- G.Ostrovska, Head of financial and economic department;
- M.Yarema, civic activist;
- V.Oleksyuk, village council member.
