The first meeting of the newly created USIF Supervisory Board has been held
On August 5, 2020, after almost a year interval, USIF Supervisory Board meeting was held in the premises of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The new composition of the Supervisory Board of the Fund was formed in accordance with USIF Provision as amended by the Resolution of the Cabinet of
Ministers of Ukraine of 01.07.2020 № 552.
As it was previously reported, the amendments to USIF Provision provide for expansion of the composition of the Supervisory Board (SB) by involving the Vice-Prime-Minister of Ukraine - Minister for reintegration of temporarily occupied territories as a co-chair and a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a SB member.
These amendments also relate to the form of SB operation and the order of its decision-making.

approval of the updated USIF Supervisory Board Provision;

approval of reports on implementation of the budget and the plan of activities of the Fund in the second half of the year 2019;

approval of USIF activities plan and budget for the year 2020 and reports on their implementation in the first half of this year;

approval of the results of the Fund's audits conducted during the second half of the year 2019 - the first half of the year 2020;

approval of amendments to USIF Operational Manual on the basis of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 552 of 01.07.2020;

approval of Annex 5 to USIF Operational Manual ‘Special provisions that further regulate implementation of the project ‘EU4Skills: Modernisation of Vocational Education and Training Infrastructure in Ukraine’, No.: ENI/2019/410-215 financed by European Union, represented by the European Commission, through KfW’;
-
establishment of USIF Southern, South-Western and Western regional representations with the aim to ensure effective implementation of the Project ‘EU4Skills: Modernisation of Vocational Education and Training Infrastructure in Ukraine’.
In addition, USIF Supervisory Board set a number of tasks for the Fund, including drafting of USIF Development Strategy and providing the Board with the detailed information on subprojects implemented under current projects executed by the Fund.
