У місті Кривий Ріг відкрито житловий об’єкт для переселенців
The ceremony of the solemn opening of facility for temporary accommodation of IDPs was held in Кrуvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region) 25, Katkova Avenue on 30.06.2021.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Kryvyi Rih Konstantin Pavlov, Director of the Eastern Regional Office of the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund Artur Brodzinsky, internally displaced persons, provided with housing, representatives of local governments, local NGOs and other interested locals.
17 apartments, including 3 one-room and 14 two-room apartments, 2 of which are intended for low mobility persons, are arranged on the ground floor of the dormitory. Approximately 50 IDPs will be accommodated there. Central heating in the apartments is provided. The apartments are equipped with stoves and built-in kitchen furniture.
To arrange the apartments, the premises of the ground floor with total area of 752.61 square meters of a 4-storey building were overhauled. Re-planning of the premises and finishing works in the created apartments were performed. Wooden windows were replaced by energy-efficient metal-plastic ones. Finishing works were also carried out in public auxiliary premises, the porch was repaired and barrier-free access for low-mobility persons was provided (a ramp was arranged).
The total cost of construction works - UAH 12.33 million. Term of performance of works: 15.08.2020 - 15.06.2021.
In addition, 2 washing machines for rooms used by low mobility persons were purchased from the Project funds.
Community contribution: financing of design development and works on non-standard connection to electricity (increase of e/capacity); replacement of risers on the upper floors; purchase of 2 refrigerators for the common kitchen, 2 washing machines for the common laundry, equipping the apartments with the necessary furniture (wardrobes, beds, chairs, tables).
Housing facility for internally displaced persons (IDPs) is renovated in Кrуvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region) under ‘Promotion of Social Infrastructure Development. USIF VI’ Project, funded by the German Government through KfW and implemented by Ukrainian Social Investment Fund.
