13 medical facilities will be renovated within the USIF VIII project
As of mid-August 2021, the USIF has signed memoranda of cooperation to improve the provision of services in 13 medical institutions participating in the project "Promotion of Social Infrastructure Development (USIF VIII)".
Memoranda of cooperation were signed between the USIF, initiative groups (subprojects implementation partners), as well as the owners and balance holders of the following institutions:
- Outpatient clinics of PHCC, Slobozhanske village, Dnipropetrovsk region;
- Kryvyi Rih City Hospital № 9, Dnipropetrovsk region;
- Kryvyi Rih Infectious Diseases Hospital № 1, Dnipropetrovsk region;
- Outpatient clinics № 5 and № 6 PHCC № 3 Mariupol, Donetsk region;
- Dobropillia Intensive Care Hospital, Donetsk region;
- Outpatient clinics № 3 and № 4 PHCC Druzhkivka, Donetsk region;
- Outpatient clinics of Gulyaypole PHCC, Zaporizhzhia region;
- Multidisciplinary hospital of intensive care and ambulance Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region;
- Outpatient clinics № 2 Severodonetsk PHCC, Luhansk region;
- Outpatient clinics № 1 and № 2 PHCC Rubizhne, Luhansk region;
- Svatove Multidisciplinary Hospital, Luhansk Region;
- Starobilsk Multidisciplinary Hospital, Luhansk Region;
- Central City Hospital, Izyum, Kharkiv region.
The signing of the memoranda starts the active phase of the project "Promotion of Social Infrastructure Development (USIF VIII)". The next stages will be development and approval of design and estimate documentation, selection of contractors and start of construction works.
In addition to energy-efficient renovation of facilities, it is planned to purchase medical equipment and training for doctors and heads of institutions, health care managers.
Before, the German Government has allocated a grant of EUR 13.10 million for the implementation of the Project through the German Development Bank KfW. The project is implemented by the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund (USIF) in cooperation with local communities and the management of medical institutions.
