The center of professional excellence will be created on the basis of Kvasyliv Professional Lyceum with the use of the grant funds, provided by German Government
On May 26, 2023, Kvasyliv Professional Lyceum, Rivne Regional State Administration - Rivne Regional Military Administration, Rivne City Council and the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund (USIF) established cooperation in order to create the center of professional excellence in the field of professional (vocational and technical) education and training on the basis of Kvasyliv Professional Lyceum by carrying out construction works, purchasing equipment and implementing a practice-oriented and relevant for the labor market concept of professional (vocational-technical) education.
On this day, representatives of Kvasyliv Professional Lyceum, Rivne Regional State Administration - Rivne Regional Military Administration, Rivne City Council, and USIF signed the Memorandum, envisaging development of design and cost estimate documentation (DED) for carrying out construction works on the repair of the dormitory building, educational building and production workshops of the institution.
It is foreseen to arrange, with due consideration of the inclusiveness requirements, production workshops for professions: ‘Driver of vehicles’; ‘Mechanic for the repair of wheeled vehicles’, ‘Flattener of vehicles bodies’, ‘Technician for diagnostics and tuning of electronic equipment of vehicles’, ‘Electric and gas welder’, ‘Electric welder of manual welding’, ‘Electric welder on automatic and semi-automatic machines’, ‘Construction rigger (frame construction)’, ‘Sanitary systems and equipment rigger’, ‘Technician for installation and maintenance of energy recovery systems’, ‘Mechatronics technician’.
These measures will be implemented within ‘Vocational Education and Training in Eastern Partnership’ (VETinEP) Project. DED development and construction works execution will be financed by USIF from the grant funds of the German Government, provided through KfW. In general, it is planned to allocate up to 6.66 million euros for construction, purchase of equipment and implementation of practical-oriented and relevant for the labor market professional (vocational-technical) education.
Apart from that, the work on setting up of another center of professional excellence on the basis of Tulchyn Higher Vocational College No. 41 is planned to be done within this Project.
