Phone us The Social Services Delivery Center in Vyshnivetska Community and the Youth Center in Pochaivska Community of Ternopil region have been solemnly opened
On June 9, 2023, Vyshnivetska and Pochaivska Territorial Communities (Ternopil region), together with the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund, solemnly opened new social facilities, renovated and equipped within the framework of the World Bank Project "The Community-Based Social Service Delivery", being financed from the grant funds provided to Ukraine by the Government of Japan through Japan Social Development Fund.
The total cost of each micro-project equals to 140,000 US dollars.
In the course of implementation of the micro-project of Vyshnivetska community with the aim of creating the Social Services Delivery Center, an overhaul of a part of the former hospital premises was carried out, including reconstruction of external water supply networks, electricity and gas supply systems, as well as replacement of windows with energy-saving ones. New sanitary ware was installed in the bathrooms and a sloping elevator for accessibility to the premises for persons with disabilities.
For the purpose of arranging working cabinets, areas for provision of social services and rooms intended for the delivering of day care services, the furniture was procured and delivered to the institution.
In addition to that, sports equipment, namely: exercise bike and orbiterk, dumbbells, sports mats, balls, as well as rehabilitation equipment: exercise machine-rehabilitation for fingers, foot massager, Swedish wall-stand with a removable prophylactic board with an adjustable carriage and horizontal bar , stairs to restore walking skills with an inclined ramp S/U, rehabilitation treadmill, portable pedal exerciser Supretto, dynamic verticalizer ACTIVALL, were purchased.
To create a labor therapy cabinet, the institution was provided with sewing machines, an overlocker and a professional iron.
In order to organize provision of social services to children and persons with intellectual and mental disabilities, a development board Busyboard for children, a demonstration set of PECS cards for the development of communication, a box with figures for the development of spatial thinking, a game set "Froebel's Large Didactic Set", a set of books with icons for the development of speech, a light table-sandbox, a tennis table, a children's board game 3 in 1, a set of board games "30 games (Mathematics. Language. Logic)" were procured.
The Center for provision of social services, created in the result of the micro-project implementation, will render a wide range of social services for residents of the Vyshnivetska Community who need support and assistance.
Under the implementation of the micro-project of the Pochaivska Сcommunity, an overhaul of the premises for the Youth Center was carried out: the walls of the premises were re-planned and repaired, energy-efficient windows and doors were installed, new power networks and communications were installed.
External arrangement of the premises and territory with installation of ramps for persons with disabilities was performed.
New furniture, 11 laptops, office equipment, multimedia equipment, digital equipment for photo and video recording, sports equipment (multistation, treadmill, elliptical trainer and Swedish wall) were purchased for the Youth Center.
