USIF starts off practical implementation of micro-projects within "Provision of social services in the community" Project
Within the Community-Based Social Service Delivery Project framework, implementation of micro-projects aimed at development of a social services provision system to vulnerable groups of people in 10 amalgamated territorial communities of Ternopil and Odesa regions is launched. These communities include Baltska, Bilyayivska, Borshchivska, Vylkivska, Vyshnivetska, Zborivska, Konoplianska, Pochayivska, and Yaskivska communities.
Within the framework of the project, a specialist on training in consultations format on design of social services to be established or improved in communities within the framework of micro-projects started providing services. The purpose of the designer's work is to conduct training in consultation format to provide social service providers with practical skills in the design of social services.
In particular, between September and November 2020, there is a plan to hold ten training and consulting events for social service units managers and specialists, representatives of micro-projects implementation partners, managers and specialists of the entities providing social services for ten communities of Odesa and Ternopil regions.
The planned activities will contribute to strengthening capacities and preparation of managers and specialists of social protection units in the communities to implement micro-projects in the part related to social services provision, modeling the results of social services provision and evaluation of their effectiveness, establishing effective processes, associated with human resources development, procurement, funding, and other aspects of the strategic and day-to-day operations of the social protection units of the communities and social service providers.
