USIF continues to actively implement ‘Community-based Social Service Delivery’ Project
On 28-30.11.2019 in Lviv USIF together with the Ukrainian Catholic University conducted a training aimed at enhancing self-government representatives capacity in implementing the system of social services provision in the amalgamated territorial communities of Odesa and Ternopil regions within the framework of ‘Community-based Social Service Delivery’ Project.
The Project is funded by Japan Social Development Fund and supported by the World Bank. During the training its participants got acquainted with peculiarities of social service provision in communities under decentralization process, social services budgeting and financing, successful international and domestic practices of social services provision. They also had an opportunity to exchange ideas, opinions and experience of social services organization.
Another similar training for representatives of other communities of Odesa and Ternopil regions, involved in the Project implementation, will be held in Lviv on 05-07.12.2019.
