In December 2023, three medical institutions, participating in USIF VIII Project, received 228 units of modern medical equipment for a total amount of EUR 768,000. The equipment was purchased by USIF within the framework of the ‘Promotion of Social Infrastructure Development. USIF VIII’ project, funded by the Government of Germany through KfW.
Kryvyi Rih City Hospital No. 2 received equipment and medical furniture for the cardiology department, namely: patient monitors and a central monitoring station, volumetric and syringe infusion pumps, functional beds and bedside tables, beds for medical examinations, hydraulic instrument tables, and shelving.
Laboratory equipment, including biochemical analyzers, laboratory centrifuges, thermostats, sterilizers, laboratory refrigerators, microscopes, water distillers, coagulometer, etc. was purchased for Kryvyi Rih Infectious Diseases Hospital No. 1.
Slobozhanska outpatient clinic received diagnostic, physiotherapy and laboratory equipment, namely: electrocardiographs, defibrillator, oto-ophthalmoscopes, jaundice detector, diagnostic ultrasound system, physiotherapy ultrasound therapy devices, a device for phototherapy of newborns, biochemical and hematological analyzers.
Availability of this equipment will help to improve the provision of primary medical care for patients of the partner medical institutions.
