Phone us The second retreat training as a part of the World Bank "The Community based social services delivery" Project has been conducted
The seminar on "Practical aspects of organization of new social services in the community", aimed at strengthening the potential of specialists of centers providing social services to pilot territorial communities of Ternopil and Odesa regions, which implement micro-projects on creation and improvement of social services was held in the urban type village of Sataniv, Khmelnytskyi region in November 15 - 17, 2022.
Two practical workshops on methods and technologies of social work on the topics: "Practical aspects of providing social services to families with children who are in difficult life circumstances under martial law" and "Organization of social work with families in difficult life circumstances" were conducted in the course of the seminar.
A number of institutions providing social services in Khmelnytsky region were visited during the seminar to acquaint the participants from the pilot communities with successful practices of providing social services. The experience of the creation and operation of the Center for provision of social services of Sataniv urban type village Council of Khmelnytsky region as well as the Center for provision of social services and the town Center for comprehensive rehabilitation of children with disabilities of Horodotsk town Council was studied.
During the visit to the institutions of Horodotsk town community, a working meeting with the town mayor - Andriichuk Neonila Vyacheslavivna was held. The results of the seminar were summarized and recommendations for the pilot communities regarding formation of a strategy for further development of their own social service systems at the community level were determined at that meeting.

We also express our gratitude to the hosting communities of Khmelnytskyi region, namely: Kamyanets-Podilsk, Horodotsk, Dunayevetsk towns’ as well as Nova Ushytsia and Sataniv urban type villages’ communities for their assistance in organization, within the framework of the Project, of two retreat training events to improve the qualifications of the experts of the pilot communities and for their contribution in achieving of the common goal – creation of the social services system, approximated to people needs.
"The community based social services delivery" Project of the World Bank is being implemented by the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund at the expense of grant funds provided to Ukraine by the Government of Japan through the Japan Social Development Fund.
