Renovated outpatient clinic No. 2 in Synelnykove resumes admission of patients
Outpatient clinic No. 2 of the Synelnykove Primary Healthcare Center resumes admission of patients after its overhaul. On July 13, 2023, it was solemnly re-opened with participation of Mayor Dmytro Zrazhevskyi and USIF representatives.
The outpatient clinic was modernized within the framework of "Promotion of Social Infrastructure Development - Improvement of Rural Basic Health. USIF VII" Project, funded by the Government of Germany through KfW.
The German Government's grant funds were used to carry out major internal repairs, replace all engineering networks, build a porch with a ramp, and equip the bathrooms to meet accessibility requirements. The total cost of construction works and related expenses amounted to about UAH 10.2 million.
In addition, a number of modern medical devices were purchased for the facility: a digital stethoscope, a patient monitor, an automatic hematology analyzer, a semi-automatic biochemical analyzer, a coagulometer, a TC-Spinplus-8 centrifuge, tonometers, spirometers, pulse oximeters, various rapid tests and personal protective equipment for a total amount of UAH 741 thousand.
The management of the primary healthcare center, outpatient clinic staff, as well as healthcare managers of the town of Synelnykove took part in the training program, organized by USIF to develop capacity of medical and healthcare professionals.
The town authorities also contributed to the modernization of the outpatient clinic. Uninterrupted electricity and water supply during construction works, procurement of medical and office furniture and landscaping of the surrounding area were financed from the town budget.
The renovated outpatient clinic employs 6 doctors and 15 medical staff members who will now see patients in renovated rooms with modern equipment. The outpatient clinic serves about 8,000 residents.
