Andriy Laktionov stated, that USIF is an implementing agency for several projects, being financed by German Government and aimed at creating housing for internally displaced persons and developing the infrastructure of health care institutions.
"I am sincerely grateful to the Government of Germany, the German Credit Institution for Development (KfW) and the Ministry on matters of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine for supporting USIF initiative on allocation of funds to purchase equipment for one of the largest hospitals in Ukraine, which provides effective assistance to the wounded and sick with the coronavirus. After all, it is very important to return to a full-fledged life all those who suffered from the war and the pandemic. This applies to both military and civilians. Thanks to Germany's assistance, our doctors will have better opportunities for this," - said Andriy Laktionov.
Director General of the First Lviv Medical Association Oleh Samchuk noted, that the provided modern rehabilitation complex will improve medical institutions’ capabilities to recover even more patients.
"Since February, we have treated more than 7,000 wounded Ukrainians at Nezlamni/Adamant National Rehabilitation Center of the First Lviv Medical Association. These are adults and children, civilians and military. We work every day to provide the best possible care for our patients, and we look for resources to do so. Therefore, Germany's assistance is quite valuable for us. Thank you," - Oleg Samchuk narrated.
With worsening of COVID-19 epidemic situation, being observed these days, the provided rehabilitation equipment will prevent serious complications of the course of the disease and speed up the recovery of patients, suffering from coronavirus.

Therefore, the equipment provided to the hospital will be used not only for the needs of Lviv residents, but also for those who have found temporary shelter for themselves and their families in the city.
