Cooperation memorandum within "Promotion of Social Infrastructure Development - USIF.VIII" Project was signed in Mariupol
On August 11, the solemn signing of the Memorandum within "Promotion of social infrastructure - USIF.VIII" Project took place in Mariupol.
The goal is to improve the quality of medical services in the Primary Health Care Center №3. The Center provides serves for almost 80,000 people. Its outpatient clinics № 5,6 (for adults) will be overhauled.
"The Ukrainian Social Investment Fund is our reliable partner. With its support, Mariupol is taking another step forward in providing high quality and affordable social and medical services. We are ready to actively cooperate in the future", the First Deputy Mayor Mykhailo Kohut said at the document signing.
Vasyl Burtnyk, Director of the South-Eastern Regional Office of the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund, in his turn, thanked the city authorities for the fruitful cooperation and expressed hope for its continuation.
The total amount of USIF investments aimed for improvement of medicine in Mariupol exceeds 41 million hryvnias. The financing is intended for the renovation of 5 outpatient clinics, located in Primorsky, Livoberezhny and Tsentralny districts. Two of them are for children.
The project is being implemented by the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund with the use of grant funds of the German government, provided via the KfW Development Bank.
