Medical facilities received another batch of rapid tests
At the end of November, rapid tests worth about UAH 3.5 million were delivered to 21 outpatient clinics.
That time 24,065 rapid tests were purchased, namely:
- rapid tests to detect antigen Covid-19;
- rapid tests for antigens of influenza A and B viruses
- rapid test for antibodies to HIV-1 and HIV-2;
- rapid tests to determine HBsAg of hepatitis B;
- rapid tests to determine Troponin I;
- quick test to detect D-dimer.
Rapid tests for antigen of coronavirus infection are urgently needed during a pandemic to maintain the appropriate level of health care delivery.
At the same time, as long as public attention is focused on the fight against Covid-19, the availability and risks, posed by old and well-known diseases should not be ignored. That is the reason why USIF purchased tests to detect other diseases, including influenza A and B viruses, HIV, hepatitis B, etc.
Thus, USIF continues to support partner outpatient clinics not only through energy-efficient renovation of their premises, but also by medical supplies provision.
These activities are funded by USIF from the grant funds of the Government of Germany provided through KfW within ‘’Promotion of Social Infrastructure Development. Improvement of rural basic health. USIF.VII’ Project, comprising 40 primary care institutions from five regions of Ukraine.
