USIF consultants study the GRM
On December 13, 2019, all USIF social consultants gathered in the premises of Eastern Regional Office to attend the training on matters of grievance redress mechanisms, applied by USIF and its local partners.
USIF introduces procedures necessary for understanding of people attitude to execution of different subproject cycle stages, which might have either positive or negative impact on some aspects of their lives and environment. Public consultations are thus expected to facilitate identification of additional opportunities and risks at subprojects (SP) implementation. Community members can also influence the content of decisions taken jointly by USIF and its partners in the course of SP implementation.
The training was conducted by Oleksandr Krasovsky, USIF Head Office consultant.
USIF consultants are constantly trained to be of maximum help to partner communities and to comply with modern international donors’ policies.
