Another 12 families of internally displaced persons have been provided with social housing under USIF V Project
In Kharkiv region, in the village of Doslidne, located near the town of Krasnograd, the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund (USIF), with the use of the funds of German Government, provided through KfW Development Bank, renovated a two-story facility for housing of internally displaced persons.
Previously, that facility was intended to serve as laboratory building for the research station of the local Agricultural Institute but remained inoperational for a long period of time.
Since then, the building was completely reconstructed: the roof, windows, doors and communications were replaced, living premises were renovated.
After reconstruction, the facility consists of 12 apartments: 4 - two-room, 8 - one-room. Twelve families are already settled there.
To ensure their comfortable settlement and stay, USIF additionally provided necessary furniture and household items.
On February 25, 2019, Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Yuliya Svitlychna, Chairman of Kharkiv Regional Council Serhii Chernov, leadership of Krasnogradsky District and the town of Krasnograd and Director of USIF Eastern Regional Office Serhii Kadygrob visited the residents of the building. During this visit they ascertained in the proper quality of executed renovation and construction works and availability of necessary living conditions created for the new residents.
In the framework of the USIF V Project, which is being implemented by the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund, construction works in Lozova were accomplished this year already. Opening of social facilities for internally displaced persons residence is expected soon in urban type village Zolochiv, towns of Izum and Dergachi.
