Phone us Use of modern construction technologies and materials has been discussed with representatives of Henkel Bautechnik Ukraine in USIF’s Head Office
On December 3, 2018 in Kyiv representatives of Henkel Bautechnik Ukraine Anatoliy Velichko and Oleksandr Ustymenko presented modern construction technologies and materials, which could be used in USIF’s projects. The training seminar was attended by representatives of USIF’s Head Office Microprojects Department and technical consultants of USIF’s Kyiv Regional Office.
Representatives of Henkel Bautechnik Ukraine informed that their company has been operating on the global market for more than a century. The company produces solvents and adhesives under Ceresit™ and Moment™ brands. Its product range includes more than 500 items. Henkel Bautechnik began its operations in Ukraine in 1998. Today, the company has four factories in Ukraine, manufacturing quality construction and industrial products.
The significant part of the seminar was devoted to issues of buildings’ thermal insulation and introduction of some new state construction norms (SCNs) in Ukraine. For example, new state construction norms for thermal insulation of facades came into effect since December 1, 2018. Methods of high-quality insulating materials selection were discussed as well.
The participants examined in detail problems of brick-built houses thermal insulation. Representatives of Henkel Bautechnik Ukraine demonstrated a series of buildings’ thermograms, made in various Ukrainian regions. The thermograms illustrated a range of effective and faulty ways of facades’ thermal insulation. Representatives of USIF’s Head Office Microprojects Department and technical consultants of USIF’s Kyiv Regional Office received practical recommendations on effective application of insulation technologies for various types of facades. The participants were informed about the best construction materials available on Ukrainian market.
The Ukrainian Social Investment Fund strongly promotes utilization of modern construction norms and technologies by Ukrainian companies, engaged in implementation of the ‘Promotion of Social Infrastructure Development’ Project, funded by the German Government. This applies to renovation of schools and kindergartens, creation of social housing for internally displaced persons: to all microprojects being implemented in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovs’k and Zaporizhya regions, cities of Kyiv and Lviv.
On December 21, a similar training event will be held at USIF’s Eastern Regional Office in the city of Kharkiv.
